Peninah Warura

Hub Manager

Peninah has 8 years of experience in corporate finance and investment analysis over a wide range of businesses across East Africa. Prior to joining Agri Frontier, Peninah worked for PKF Consulting Limited and Kenya Climate Innovation Centre with companies in Water Management, Renewable Energy, Commercial Forestry, and agribusiness offering business advisory services, helping them to understand their capital requirements and managing the process of raising capital from equity and debt providers and mentoring the companies as they scale their businesses.

Warura is skilled in various areas of business and finance, including business advisory, financial modeling, business gap analysis, due diligence, coaching and mentoring, investment memorandum and pitch deck preparation, as well as project management for investment and portfolio management.

George Kanyeki

Regional Senior Consultant

George has 8 years of professional experience in management consulting and financial advisory. Prior to joining Agri Frontier, he worked for PKF Corporate Finance as a Financial Analyst.  George has worked for a range of businesses across East Africa. His expertise includes feasibility studies, financial modelling, business valuations, market research, business appraisal and due diligence.

George has a Bachelor’s in business administration (First Class) from the Technical University of Mombasa and is a CPA Finalist. George passed CFA Level 1 exam in February 2021.

Mercy Ndunge

Regional Consultant

Mercy has over 4 years of professional experience in management and financial advisory. Prior to joining Agri Frontier, Mercy worked for PKF Corporate Finance as a Financial Analyst.  She has significant experience in a range of business advisory services including business reviews, financial analysis and modelling, development of bankable business plans, market and feasibility studies, development of strategic plans and advising on corporate transactions in the African region covering both buy and sell side transaction support including inter alia due diligence reviews and business valuations.

Mercy has a Bachelor of Economics and Statistics from Kenyatta University and she is currently pursuing a Master in Science (Finance) from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.

Stephen Muchiri

Regional Consultant

Stephen has over 2 years of professional experience in business advisory. Prior to joining Agri Frontier, Stephen worked for PKF Consulting as an Institutional Development Consultant. He has significant experience in a range of business advisory services in the agricultural sector including financial analysis and modelling, development of bankable business plans, market and feasibility studies, and development of strategic plans.

Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Control & Instrumentation. He is also a certified Financial Modelling and Valuation Analyst (FMVA).

Anu Menon

Growth Hub Administrator

Anu has 15 years’ experience in corporate management and is based in the UK office. She is an electrical engineer by background and has worked internationally for large multinational corporations. Recently, she founded two social enterprises and has extensive experience in entrepreneurship, marketing, operations, technology, and social reporting.

She has a BEng in Electrical and Computer Systems and a Master of Business from Monash University, Australia and a MSc in Food Safety and Quality from the Royal Agricultural University, UK

Andrew Ritchie

Director

Andrew has worked in the African agribusiness and finance industry for over 15 years, living in Kenya between 2002 and 2014, and is the founder and Managing Director of Agri Frontier.

He worked as CFO of Finlays, a wholly owned subsidiary of John Swire & Sons, with extensive tea and horticultural operations in East Africa (22,000 employees). Andrew also worked as an Investment Manager with ALTIMA Partners LLP, a $2.5 billion alternative investment manager focusing on the agri sector and Altima’s Africa portfolio. His combined experience of ‘C’ level finance roles for one of Africa’s largest integrated agri-groups together with working in Africa-focused agri-investment for a large Private Equity fund manager was the catalyst for founding Agri Frontier.

Andrew has a BSc (Hons) Agricultural Business Management degree from the University of London and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

Inzillia Sasi

Regional Consultant

Inzillia is an experienced professional in Financial Consulting and Transaction Advisory who has worked with enterprises in a diverse range of industries and sectors across Africa. Prior to joining Agri Frontier, Inzillia worked as a Management Consultant at Fie Consult and as the Programs Lead at Fie Labs Innovation Hub. She possesses unique skills and expertise in fundraising processes, financial due diligence, business valuation, financial modeling, financial planning and analysis, financial statement preparation, strategy plans and market research.

She has a Bachelor’s in Economic and Finance from Kenyatta University and is a CIFA graduate. She also holds an FMVA certification from CFI, and is currently pursuing a BIDA certification. Inzillia is a Thought Leader on matters AfCFTA and International Trade

Kennedy Berenju

Regional Consultant

Kennedy is an Agribusiness Financial Consultant at Agri Frontier with over 6 years of experience in enterprise support, program & project management, business advisory, financial modelling and analysis. Prior to Joining Agri Frontier, Kennedy worked for Kenya Climate Innovation Center as a Business Analyst, where he enhanced his skills through offering business advisory and financial analysis support to over 100 growth stage MSMEs in various sectors including agriculture, renewable energy, water, waste management, commercial forestry and financial institutions. Over the years he has provided enterprises support and training to MSMEs to reengineer business processes as well as investment readiness and deal facilitation.

Kennedy holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Management Science/Finance from Strathmore University. He is also a certified financial modelling analyst trained at InVhestia and Strathmore Business School, and is also trained in Private Equity and Venture Capital at Strathmore Business School.

Godwin Ajene

Regional Consultant

Godwin is an Agribusiness Consultant at Agri Frontier with over 4 years of experience providing corporate finance and advisory services to a wide range of businesses across West Africa. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance from the University of Agriculture, Makurdi and is currently a CFA Level 1 candidate
