George Kanyeki

Regional Senior Consultant

George has 8 years of professional experience in management consulting and financial advisory. Prior to joining Agri Frontier, he worked for PKF Corporate Finance as a Financial Analyst.  George has worked for a range of businesses across East Africa. His expertise includes feasibility studies, financial modelling, business valuations, market research, business appraisal and due diligence.

George has a Bachelor’s in business administration (First Class) from the Technical University of Mombasa and is a CPA Finalist. George passed CFA Level 1 exam in February 2021.

Mercy Ndunge

Regional Consultant

Mercy has over 6 years of professional experience in management and financial advisory. Prior to joining Agri Frontier, Mercy worked for PKF Corporate Finance as a Financial Analyst. She has significant experience in a range of business advisory services including business reviews, financial analysis and modelling, development of bankable business plans, market and feasibility studies, development of strategic plans and advising on corporate transactions in the African region covering both buy and sell side transaction support including inter alia due diligence reviews and business valuations.

Mercy has a Bachelor of Economics and Statistics from Kenyatta University and she is currently pursuing a Master in Science (Finance) from University of Nairobi.

Andrew Ritchie

Director

Andrew has worked in the African agribusiness and finance industry for over 15 years, living in Kenya between 2002 and 2014, and is the founder and Managing Director of Agri Frontier.

He worked as CFO of Finlays, a wholly owned subsidiary of John Swire & Sons, with extensive tea and horticultural operations in East Africa (22,000 employees). Andrew also worked as an Investment Manager with ALTIMA Partners LLP, a $2.5 billion alternative investment manager focusing on the agri sector and Altima’s Africa portfolio. His combined experience of ‘C’ level finance roles for one of Africa’s largest integrated agri-groups together with working in Africa-focused agri-investment for a large Private Equity fund manager was the catalyst for founding Agri Frontier.

Andrew has a BSc (Hons) Agricultural Business Management degree from the University of London and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

Inzillia Sasi

Regional Consultant

Inzillia is an experienced professional in Financial Consulting and Transaction Advisory who has worked with enterprises in a diverse range of industries and sectors across Africa. Prior to joining Agri Frontier, Inzillia worked as a Management Consultant at Fie Consult and as the Programs Lead at Fie Labs Innovation Hub. She possesses unique skills and expertise in fundraising processes, financial due diligence, business valuation, financial modeling, financial planning and analysis, financial statement preparation, strategy plans and market research.

She has a Bachelor’s in Economic and Finance from Kenyatta University and is a CIFA graduate. She also holds an FMVA certification from CFI, and is currently pursuing a BIDA certification. Inzillia is a Thought Leader on matters AfCFTA and International Trade

Annabell Achieng

Agri-Business Financial Consultant

Annabell is an Agri-Business Financial Consultant at Agri Frontier, where her role entails delivering a diverse range of advisory services to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Her focus is on preparing these enterprises for investment, enhancing governance structures, facilitating access to funding, and implementing business development strategies to support their expansion into regional and international markets.

Before joining Agri Frontier, Annabell held the position of Senior Financial Analyst at KPMG East Africa, specializing in transaction advisory services. Her client portfolio spanned various sectors. Prior to her advisory role, Annabell worked as an auditor at KPMG East Africa, conducting audits for organizations in the financial sector, consumer industrial markets, and the public sector.

Throughout her career, Annabell has acquired expertise in financial reporting, financial analysis, investment attraction, auditing and assurance, as well as risk assessment. She earned her Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance from the University of Nairobi and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the United States International University (USIU). Additionally, she is an advanced-level candidate for the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification.

Danny Mitchel

Senior Investment Consultant

Danny Mitchel is an experienced Impact Investment professional with a proven track record in Agriculture Finance across Sub-Saharan Africa and Management Consulting. He has been an integral part of a European debt fund, specializing in the agricultural sector. In this role as a Senior Investment Analyst, he supported the fund through the full investment cycle (origination, screening, due diligence, IC proposal write-ups, and portfolio monitoring). Furthermore, he’s been involved in a strategic sourcing project for a major agro processor in Eastern and Central Africa, where his mandate was to support the executive management in developing a lean procurement strategy, and structure and incorporate smallholder farmers in the value chain.

Prior to joining Agri Frontier, Mitchel worked for Samawati Capital Partners as a Senior Investment Analyst, supporting the company in executing its Fund Management mandate and further working on a few investor readiness projects under the USAID- Strategic Investing Activity. He has a Bachelor’s degree in commerce, specializing in Finance from the University of Nairobi.
